The Audio Precision ATS-2 Audio Analyzer features converter based architecture which keeps the cost down and offers a wide range of features at high levels of performance. Converter based audio analyzers generate and analyze signals in the digital domain and use analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and digital-to-analog converters (DACs) for analog input and output.
